Required Qualification & Experience for available Position

• Candidates must fulfill HEC requirements and be professors with doctorate degrees from reputable universities recognized by HEC, preferably in engineering and with a prominent leadership background in academic administration and education.
• Candidates must have a comprehensive awareness of challenges in higher education on both a national and international level, as well as industrial expertise and experience in the textile industry.

Term of Appointment

• The rector will be chosen for a term of four years and will be eligible for professorial wage packages under the tenure track system. All additional benefits and allowances that the vice chancellor of Pakistan’s public sector universities now recommends will also be eligible.
